Being in the water is a state of returning home. Molly-Ann water path entailed teaching SCUBA, freediving, underwater dance and for the past three years practicing water therapy.
Each step in the process feels to be a deepening journey of meeting with the essence of water. Water teaches to surrender, release resistance and flow in authenticity. In her words: "It is when I am in water that my soul feels most free, my human form dissolves and I feel pure light. It is such a beautiful gift to be able to share this experience with others."
In Being Camp, Molly-Ann will give water therapies, and also two workshops related to this area:
- Water Journey: Invite the energy of water into your being - Through meditation and embodied movement practices, beginning on land and entering the water, we will invite the essence of the water element into our being.
- Return to the Embryo: Water Dance - In many cultures water is seen as compensation for the freedom that the soul looses when it enters it's bodily form. Within the womb, the first experiences of being in-body, are held within this water state; a sacred container, our first earthly home. As we enter into the water, we return to this safe body-mind state, feeling held and connected to source. Dancing in water invites us to fully enjoy our presence here and now, to respond with patience, to surrender to feeling, and to follow intuitive impulses to play and explore. As we start dissolving in the element of water, our contours of self begin to melt , our movement becomes one with the water and the other, we enter into a no mind state. We will begin the session with guided exploration of movement research on how the body navigates through the realm of water, remembering how it is to move and exist in the water element. We will journey through exploration of dancing in solo with water, and in pairs, culminating in a collective water dance, returning to the space of the womb.
