Musician, composer and producer, Guilherme Gonçalves began his journey in the music world at the age of 10 when he received his first nylon guitar. A self-taught musician since then, he formed his first band at the age of 15. After completing the Sound Level II course at Restart in 2005, he started working at Galeria Zé dos Bois as a sound engineer.

There, he had the opportunity to interact with many artists involved in experimental/exploratory music, free jazz, free rock, etc. A lover of challenges, he quickly let himself be influenced and soon started creating. In 2008, he joined Gala Drop as a guitarist and keyboardist and recorded the next three albums with the band: Overcoat Heat (2010), Broda (2012), and II (2014). In 2010, he performed at Coliseu dos Recreios, opening for Sonic Youth. In the same year, he played in New York, opening for Panda Bear at the Governors Island festival.Simultaneously, he created Coclea, a musical project based on electric guitar loops. In 2015, he released the album Coclea - S/T through the Portuguese label Shhpuma.

At the same time, Guilherme Gonçalves has been solidifying his career as a producer and sound technician. In 2014, he joined the team at Blacksheep Studios and began his career as a producer. He recorded and produced Keep Razors Sharp - S/T, Sean Riley & The Slowriders - S/T, The Poppers - Lucifer, among many others.In 2022, he began collaborating with The Legendary Tigerman (Paulo Furtado) as a recording assistant and mixer for several soundtracks for TV series and theater pieces, such as ANDY, which featured Gus Van Sant.

Currently, he works as a sound technician and technical consultant for B. Fachada, The Legendary Tigerman, Samuel Úria, Sean Riley & The Slowriders, and CABRITA.In 2023, he started a new path in his life and created the project Maktub together with Sofia Pérez. In the same year, he created another project called Weaving of Waves, born from his studies in spirituality, ancestry, and personal development, emphasizing the healing power of music.
